Access Sydney Community Transport supports the culturally and linguistically diverse community; our client group speak 60 different languages and we have a diverse range of languages including Italian, Russian, Hindi and Vietnamese spoken by our caring team of staff and volunteers.
Mandarin & Cantonese speaking team members are now available in the office Monday, Tuesday , Thursday and Friday with bookings and enquiries.
If you’re an older person from a culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background, or you’re caring for an older person from a CALD background, Access Sydney Community Transport has services designed specifically for you that take this diversity into account.
With a dedicated Community Engagement Coordinator, ASCT has a sound, on-the-ground presence with culturally diverse communities in and around Sydney.
Currently, ASCT has 7 language specific groups including Chinese, Russian, Vietnamese, Italian, Greek, Indian and Sri Lankan. These social groups provide an opportunity for our clients to socialise in comfort and tranquillity.
