Donations Policy
Access Sydney Community Transport greatly appreciates donations to support the work of our organisation. By making a donation to Access Sydney Community Transport you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions including our Privacy Policy and refund policy. Please review the following prior to making your donation.
Donations are received by Access Sydney Community Transport Inc., Suite 2 Level 1, 579 Harris Street, Ultimo NSW 2007, ABN 28 985 892 007 , phone: 02 8241 8000.
Method of Payment
Donations can be made via our website or by sending a cheque to our office address.
The method of payment via our website is by credit card. We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express cards via a secure payments system which is linked directly to our bank which will authorise the credit card payments. We can accept cards issued in Australia or overseas.
All transactions are processed in Australian dollars.
We do not capture or store your credit card details, only the authority from our bank that your credit card payment has been approved.
Receipts
We issue a receipt with a copy of the payment information received from our bank for each donation.
Tax-Deductible Donations
Donations of $2 and more are tax deductible.
Access Sydney Community Transport Inc. accepts anonymous donations, but due to taxation laws, is unable to issue a tax-deductible receipt to the donor in such circumstances.
Right to Decline a Donation
Access Sydney Community Transport Inc. has the right to decline a donation if we believe that by accepting the donation we may compromise the organisation’s reputation, purpose or values.
Refunds Policy
A refund may be available if you make an error in your donation or change your mind.
To seek a donation refund you must contact Access Sydney Community Transport as soon as possible.
Due to the administration costs associated with making a refund. Access Sydney will only refund payments made to us over the value of $10.00. If a refund is requested, we will ask you to provide proof of the donation. We will honor all requests for a donation refund over the value of $10.00 made within 30 days of the donation receipt being issued by us. After 30 days, any request for a refund will be carefully considered by Access Sydney Community Transport Inc, but cannot be guaranteed. Access Sydney Community Transport Inc. will not refund donations that we have reported to a third-party, if the 30 day refund period has elapsed.
If a donation has been made by credit card, the refund will be credited to that same credit card. If a donation was made by cheque, the refund will be made by direct payment to your nominated bank account.
If Access Sydney Community Transport has made an error, we will rectify the problem as soon as we are made aware of it.
If a donation amount is adjusted, the original receipt issued for the incorrect amount will become invalid and a new receipt will be issued for the amount of the adjusted donation.
Please allow up to 10 days for refunds to be assessed and processed.
