Welcome to our June newsletter!

In this edition, we have a great program to keep you busy during winter, up to date with Aged Care changes that might affect you, and ways you can help us to deliver better services for all of our clients.

Winter social outings calendar is now out

Our Winter social outings calendar is now out – and it’s packed with great ideas to get out and about. Make sure you have a good look at what’s on and book early! You can see the outings calendar by clicking here.

Book NOW for your VIVID trip – $15
Our popular outings to the city’s VIVID lights will be during the first week of June (from Monday 2 June). These evening tours have always been a highlight of our calendar.

We want your feedback- complete our survey

You can help us to offer the services you need by completing our annual Client Survey. The survey gives us a good picture of who uses our services, why you use them and how we can improve. You can complete the survey by using this link.

Join our consultations
We have started our annual client consultation forums with clients in the Inner West, but it’s not too late to join – if you live in the following areas:

  • City North and Mid City areas – Monday 26 May at 10.00am
  • City South (Alexandria and south) – Wednesday 4 June at 10.00am
  • Ashfield area – Wednesday 11 June at 10am

All consultations are held over a free morning tea from 10am to 12 noon. Call us on  (02) 8241 8000 to book transport and a place at the consultation.

Aged Care changes – support roles

The Government has released more information about the changes to Aged Care that will start in July. These focus on the support people that participants in Aged Care rely on to access services. From 1 July, these roles will be registered through My Aged Care. You can read more in this newsletter  – click here.
