If you receive the Carer Payment, you need to tell Centrelink if there is a change in your caring circumstances.
You must tell Centrelink within 14 days if you have a change in your care arrangements.
This includes if any of the following happen:
- you provide less care or start sharing care with someone else
- you stop providing care
- the person you care for is now in aged care.
You can tell Centrelink about these changes by booking a phone or face to face appointment using your Centrelink online account through myGov.
