Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Access Sydney Community Transport has remained committed to the health, safety and wellbeing of the most vulnerable people in our community. To support the community as restrictions across NSW ease, Access Sydney has created free COVID-19 relief care packs which aim to decrease the risk of transmitting COVID-19 and provide information to increase vaccination rates.
The safety of our clients, staff and wider community continues to be a key priority as the Greater Sydney region reopens. Access Sydney’s free care packs will be distributed to members of the community, with a focus on people living in the areas of Strathfield, Burwood and parts of Bayside.
Access Sydney received a grant from Multicultural NSW and a donation of items from Good360 which have enabled us to create care packs filled with essential hygiene items to help people protect themselves and those around them against the spread of COVID-19.
The items in the care packs include:
- Face masks
- Hand sanitiser
- Anti-bacterial wipes
- Disinfectant solution and spray bottle
In addition, a Vaccination Directory will be included to help assist people in finding a location where they can receive a COVID-19 vaccination. The directory will be offered in English and Simplified Chinese.
