Access Sydney Community Transport is a not-for-profit organisation that provides safe, affordable transport and social connection for older people, people with disability and people who are transport disadvantaged. We have a proud history of supporting the community for more than 30 years across Sydney CBD, Eastern Suburbs and Inner West areas of Sydney.
As a Shuttle Bus Driver for Access Sydney Community Transport Ltd, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and reliable transportation services to our local community. You will be responsible for the safe operation of our shuttle buses, ensuring passengers reach their destinations comfortably and on time.
What you’ll be doing
- Operate a loop service between Mascot Station and a Mascot warehouse and other loop services as required in the Sydney CBD area
- Ensure the safety and comfort of all passengers during the journey
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to maintain the highest standards of safety
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any issues
- Provide exceptional customer service and assist passengers as needed
- Maintain accurate trip logs and other required documentation

Community Transport Driver
Note: You must hold an LR (Light Rigid) license class or higher.
This is a rewarding job for those who like to work with people. Our drivers transport older people, people with disability and transport disadvantaged people to appointments, shopping and social outings while providing a caring, safe and supportive environment. They welcome clients to each service, assist them into and off our vehicles, stow their mobility aids, and carry their shopping bags.

Volunteer Opportunities
We have opportunities for volunteers who wish to contribute to the lives of older people, to assist them to live independently in their home. Our volunteers provide support and company for older people in their home, or when they are out and about, assist us to provide up to information to our clients and help us with the administration of our programs.
