Social Outings Clients
During a period of illness about 18 months ago, Josephine (Josie) and Gaetano (Guy) found themselves relying on Access Sydney transport services to get to their medical appointments.
They soon discovered that Access Sydney offered other services, including social outings and shopping trips. Josie, who has a passion for flowers and gardens, made sure that they joined the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens social outing to the Blue Mountains. Josie loved the experience so much she wished they could have stayed longer.
For Guy, revisiting the Markets, where he worked for 30 years as a vendor and guide, through an Access Sydney Outing meant he could reconnect with old acquaintances.
For Josie and Guy, the outings give them the chance to visit or revisit places that interest them, get out for a nice lunch, and meet new friends. The friendly drivers and the convenience of the services has encouraged them to regularly book outings.
As Guy said, “We used to drive ourselves around to a lot of the gardens and other places we like to visit, we no longer have our car now and without Access Sydney, we wouldn’t be able to go anywhere, it is a great way to get around”.
